Foreign Languages and Literatures ESL professor Carolyn Quarterman is among this year’s recipients of the prestigious DELTA Faculty Fellows Grants.

For the 2017-2018 round, the grants are targeting faculty members (non-tenure or tenured/tenure-track) with expertise in building communication and community in online courses, a job for which she fits the bill perfectly. In recent years, Carolyn has led an effort to put all instructional content for an online Teaching English to Speakers Of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate program in a consistent format in Moodle which allows students and faculty —either on campus or on remote locations across the state— to enjoy a consistent educational experience.

Recently, Carolyn also received the 2017 Ruth Crymes TESOL Academies Fellowships from the TESOL International Association. And she was featured on the DELTA News website this week.

Congratulations Carolyn!!
